Tawas Bay Insurance Agency was founded in 1933 by Robert Elliott, Sr. in East Tawas, Michigan. The agency survived its early years in the Great Depression by catering to a group of policyholders made up of close family and friends who put all their trust in this small agency. In addition, a determination that family commitment to its community was not to be taken lightly. Because of that, the program of life insurance sales expanded and soon the agency was handling a full line of insurance for personal and business clients.
Presently, the third generation of the Elliott family, and their team of insurance experts, provide all types of insurance to businesses and individuals built on the same philosophy of the family’s original model.
